The Art

I love to create art that everyone can enjoy! My main subjects are animals, comics, imaginary critters, and positive imagery and messages. The world can be a dark and scary place and I like to think that what I do can provide a little bit of joy.

I enjoy using bright, bold colors to bring my work to life and often work on a very small scale, such as with my dime-sized art pendants. Pens, markers, colored pencils, and my iPad are the main tools of my trade.

I’ve had work shown at the Penticton Art Gallery, the Penticton and District Community Arts Council, The Long Gallery, have also worked with Critteraid, the Penticton Public Library, West Bench Elementary, Kelowna Culture Days, Plant Love Stories, and a project team at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

The Artist

My name is Lindsay and I live in the beautiful Okanagan with my husband and our two young sons. Life with my little family is busy but wonderful! It’s so much fun (and sometimes a little weird) to see the world through the eyes of my children, and I love being able to share my interests with them and watch them develop interests of their own.

When I’m not drawing and spending time with my family I enjoy cooking, reading, walking, biking, and playing the same video game for a month straight before getting bored and moving on to another one.
